      <div style="clear:both;"></div>This is the finished left-hand bench.  The covering is carpet tile, and I'm stoned on the glue :)  The three lids are hinged and held with magnetic catches; they don't come all the way to the edge so that the bed-slats will have some room to locate.  All that remains for this one is to line it up in the van and screw in some little L-brackets to relevant bits, to hold it to the floor.<br /><br /><img src="images/van_bench_finished.jpg" alt="Finished bench" title="Finished bench"><div style="clear:both; padding-bottom: 0.25em;"></div>
