    Bench et al at home on my spanky new bench (from the local tip!). Also, modified my wrist roller so that it is easier to change weights, by replacing a knot with a small carabiner.

  • Bench press 25[32.5]Kg x16, 35[42.5]Kg x10, 41[48.5]Kg x7, 43[50.5]Kg x6.
  • Hang clean 25[32.5]Kg x10, 30[37.5]Kg x6, 35[42.5]Kg x3.

    Mileage for last week is high because I rode to Bristol - almost a century at 92 miles, loaded with tat. Total mileage for the week 145.5, odometer 7817. New chain is due.

    I've been remiss. Mileage for the last three weeks: 69.4, 59.8 and this week 46.2, odometer 7672 (so the bike got a decent service today). It felt more, but I've been on my feet all day and that can make things feel harder.

    Back on the rack: Chest, arms and abs. Bloody hot today, back in the gym after a while doing manual grunt-work.

  • Bench press 20kg x12, 30kg x8, 40kg x3, 1.

  • EZ curl 17.5kg x12, 20kg x8, 22.5kg x4.
  • Dips 70lb assist x12, 58lb x8, 46lb x4.
  • Incline crunch x15.
