Training DiaryOctober 31, 2006 - 24 bike miles.Surf, a nice little session at Saunton paddling. Morning run: 5 miles/8km exploring the Hookway loop, steady 52:00 including some little walk sections (it's hillier than I thought). 20 miles bike. Lovely cold crisp morning. 20 miles bike in the rain. Fun fun fun, the usual arse drivers. Short 500m pool session. Did one scrappy tumble turn (yay!) and a set with the paddles, which was educational on hand position for entry. Need to work on pull through. 30 minutes on the bike rollers, track bike, 85" gear. Very sweaty! Back in the saddle after a week-long lurgy. Starting a new metacycle of ECA and clen/T3 with ECA from today. 6km run, 36:00 so surprsingly, no form lost since the summer! Weigh in at 88.6kg, body fat 14.8%. Which means I feel fatter and wheezier than I really am. 2 mile gentle run, to drive out the back end of a little lurgy that's doing the rounds. Bike, 21 miles commute. Weigh-in a scary post-party 89kg! Light surf session, lots of paddling. 2.5 mile lazy run along the beach. Good heavy surf session. 28 bike miles. 20 bike miles. Track cycling at Newport velodrome. 3h of good hard work, lots of fun! 25 fixie miles. Nice even with the Ramadan fast hitting energy and hydration in the afternoon. 24 miles gearie.
