I was sent this url this morning. I haven’t got around to looking at the rest of the site yet, I do have a life to be getting on with. Could be as good as Scrotum the Puppy, but I doubt it.

Do you use Computer Associates’ InoculateIT as your antivirus? It’s a good programme – I’ve always found it very good. It has intercepted quite a few nasty little things before they infected my machine. Well, they have just released version 5.2, so if your autodownload feature has been claiming that you’re up to date recently, even when you know you’re not, it’s time to upgrade.

This has been a friendly notice from your even friendlier raven brat.

While going through White Dragon’s links page I was reminded of this site. It’s pretty good. It is another one of these “plenty of people claim to be Fam Trad but we’re the real thing” pages. They make the same distinction between Wiccan and Witch as I do, though, so they can’t be all bad. But they do make a dreadful mistake – I can’t find any way to turn off the cheesey music on the index page. Gah!

So White Dragon, my favourite pagan magazine, has finally moved to its own server. I guess I’m going to have to go through all my damn links now, trying to remember where they all are, and change them to the new address. Ach well, Webb Net took down the Corvax pages anyway (or so I’ve been told, I haven’t actually checked yet), so I need to put them back up somewhere else.

‘On yer bike’, say Tories. So the Tories are calling themselves the cyclist’s party, eh? They don’t seem to understand much about cycling. We are traffic, you morons, and bollocks were you responsible for the National Cycling Strategy. Grrr!!

Apparently penguins don’t topple over when aircraft fly overhead. I was unaware that anyone thought they did, so the fact that a national broadsheet is devoting space to this story came as more of a surprise than the penguins remaining upright. It’s funny what people will spend money to research.

Sarah and I are off to the Pitt Rivers Museum this afternoon, which means that I have to get to the gym this morning. I don’t like going to the gym in the morning. Early afternoon is my best time. Car is off being MOTed as well, so all interested parties keep your fingers crossed.

Harlan Ellison is a name I’ve heard mentioned a lot. I get him confused with Hunter S. Thompson in the same way that I get Omar Sharif mixed up with Laurence Olivier, and Orson Welles mixed up with George Orwell. In other words, I get him confused with someone else because my brain works oddly. Anyway, someone posted a url for Ellison Webderland: The 3 Most Important Things in Life on a mailing list and so I went and had a look. Quite funny, very American, I thought. Not sure why that strikes me as being very American, but it reminds me of some old guy sat outside an ice cream parlour telling stories in some Stephen King collection. Only the writing is better.
