Why does this always happen?

Things I was supposed to do today, in order:
- Tidy flat.
- Go to gym.
- Go to pool.
- Have shower.
- Get shopping done for dinner.
- Put petrol in car.
- Type up all of the material completed so far for NaNoWriMo.
- Have dinner.
What I have actually done today, in order:
- Wasted time on teh intarnets.
- Read half of this month’s FT.
- Gone to pool.
- Wasted time on teh intarnets.
- Gone to shop and bought dinner.
- Wasted time on teh intarnets.
- Tidied flat (swept the floor and everything!)
And lo! Here I am on teh intarnets again.
